Games were played at Barrie Sports Complex and Lampman Lane Park:

  • Barrie Sports Complex: from Hwy 400 turn northwest at the Bayfield exit onto Bayfield (27), turn left onto 26, turn right onto Nursery, then turn left into the Sports Complex.

The host gave these instructions: "400 North to Bayfield Street Exit. Turn left at top of ramp (lights). You will pass our main shopping area. Last stop for Tims is between Georgian Mall and Toys R Us on your right. Continue up Bayfield - including lights at Toys - I believe you will pass 3 lights. You will see a sign that says Hwy26 to Stayner: go left here. You will pass Simcoe County Museum, County of Simcoe, Board of Ed. Right after the railroad tracks is Nursery Road (right across from Springwater Prov. Park). Turn right, and then make your first left after the ministry building. Once in the park you will pass the stadium on the left: it is the next pinwheel of diamonds on your left hand side."

  • Lampman Lane Park: from Hwy 400 turn west at the Dunlop exit. Where the off-ramp meets Dunlop, continue straight onto Cedar Pointe Dr. Continue this winding road till you get to Lampman Lane, then turn left.

The host gave these instructions if you take the westward Dunlop exit: "The exit to Angus - at the lights at the end of the exit - you go straight through. You are on I believe Cedar Pointe (small business section). Continue straight up hill until you reach a plaza at the top on your left hand side. Turn left at these lights-street is Lampman Lane. You want the first parking lot on left. There are 3 diamonds there: yours is the first you come to. Washrooms are in the building and just outside the building.".

The host gave these instructions if you take the eastward Dunlop exit: "Turn left: this is Anne Street. Continue up hill. On your left you will come to a street Letitia: turn left at the light (this is half way up the hill). Continue to stop sign. Turn right. Turn left after plaza to Lampman Lane".

Map to the TournamentNote: many people were staying at the Georgian Summer Suites, at 101 Georgian Drive in Barrie. To get there from Mississauga, take Hwy 400 north from Toronto to Barrie, turn right at the Duckworth exit onto Duckworth (southbound), then turn left (eastbound) onto Georgian Drive.
